Maintenance of Window Treatments
Wooden blinds, vertical blinds and mini blinds can be cleaned with
a feather duster to keep dirt from building up. Sometimes a light furniture
polish can be used on the wooden blinds.
For all of the soft fabric window treatments that may get dirty
or stained, Fred Mauer Window Designs has an electrostatic cleaning process
that is similar to dry cleaning. For light cleaning of a soft window treatment,
a blow dryer set on the low setting may be used or a vacuum with
the soft brush attachment.
